Penumbra System®
The Penumbra System® is a fully-integrated system designed specifically for mechanical thrombectomy by aspiration. It is intended for use in the revascularization of patients with acute ischemic stroke secondary to intracranial large vessel occlusion. The Penumbra System includes Reperfusion Catheters, Hi-Flow Aspiration Tubing, and Pump MAX™ aspiration pump and its accessories.

Penumbra System® MAX™ Family of Reperfusion Catheters
The Penumbra System® MAX™ family of Reperfusion Catheters represents devices intended for use in the revascularization of patients with acute ischemic stroke secondary to large vessel occlusion disease.
The 3MAX™ and 4MAX™ Systems feature MAX™ Tracking Technology that allows access over a solo guidewire for ease of use while the 5MAX™ combines MAX Tracking Technology with a larger lumen.

The MAX family of Reperfusion Catheters is part of Penumbra System MAX and is intended for use with Pump MAX™ and Hi-Flow Aspiration Tubing.

The Penumbra SMART COIL® System is a platinum embolization device comprised of complex Standard and Soft coils that change softness profile within the span of a single coil. These families of SMART COIL integrate aneurysm framing, filling, and finishing in that the coil becomes progressively softer as it is deployed. These coils can be used to pack even the most delicate aneurysms. All SMART COILS feature UltraHD Fiber designed to provide stretch resistance and flexibility at the coil/pusher interface.
